WMS House System

Houses at WMS

  1. Students will remain in their assigned House throughout their WMS career.
  2. Houses will be randomly assigned.
  3. House meetings will be typically held once per month.
  4. At the beginning of the academic year the new students are assigned to one of the four houses.
  5. Members of the WMS faculty will be randomly assigned to a house to act as a "House Sponsor." They will supervise house meetings, organize house teams for competitions, and coordinate activities.

  • To welcome visitors to the school
  • Represent the school at functions
  • Co-ordinate activities around the school or sporting events
  • Develop a sense of ownership at WMS
  • Develop a sense of responsibility for their part of the school (Cleanliness, presentation and projects)
  • Support local charities

House Competitions

  • good-natured rivalry between House teams
  • win the House Trophy each year
